Soups are quick, easy and very nutritious – especially in the winter when your body is craving warming foods. A good friend of mine wrote an entire book just on soup recipes and you will see the link below. Bone broths are the best bases to use for your soups but I do not recommend the store bought kind – they often are not made from grassfed cows so the nutrients are very different for the beef and they never taste as good. I recommend making your own from beef (grassfed cows), chicken, turkey bones, etc. If you are like me, and sometimes run low on time – I also keep some in my freezer from the farm as a backup.
I have included a link to the farm below. There is a membership fee and several pickup points. I pick up in Deptford, NJ.
